Pandemic Legion’s leader, Hedliner stops in to talk about the recent fight against TEST. We explore the shifting alliances between Imperium, TEST, and PL. Elise Randolph drops a bunch of history on us! Glorious. We also wrap up the ‘Augmented’ Booster rewards that spiked skill injector prices.
This is the research document written in article form, created every week for the Sunday Talking in Stations show. Not all that is written gets on the show but we pull from the research document to write the show notes. Notes compiled by TIS Team, Written by January Valentine
This week on Talking in Stations we sit down with Hedliner, Alliance XO of Pandemic Legion. PL is experiencing a renaissance after spending time in the shadows. ShutUpandShave or SUAS, CEO of Black Omega Security is their newest corporation to join and they talk about the restructuring of Pandemic Legion. Eve’s favorite FC, Elo Knight, chats with us as well as they talk about the exciting things Black Legion has been doing and we look at his perspective of the fractured North.
Artimus Albosa is joined by Dirk MacGirk and new panelist Bardghost Isu, guests Harvey Skywarker and Apple Pear to talk about ‘The Great Escape’ of Pandemic Legion and Holy Meteorite Coalitions supercapital force from their bubble camp in UALX-3 and all the controversy surrounding the metagaming of reddit opinion as to the true condition of those Supercapitals. We also pivot to the north and look to how the second front is shaping up and the significance of 2 dead Keepstars at the hands of The Imperium.
Events in this war are moving so fast; meme artists have trouble pinning a name on it. Last week we saw the Imperium move North and establish a Forward Operating Base. This week the war shifted South as Legacy Coalition tried to do the same. TEST anchored a Keepstar in UALX-3 and Pandemic Legion, with allies, responded with a massive show of force. Legacy escalated their call to arms and matched with an enormous navy of their own. The result was one of EVE’s most significant, most unpredictable battles – a battle that left PL trapped in the system.
This week on Talking in Stations, Harvey Skywarker dubs the war in the south The Trinosaur War, wherein TEST alliance and Legacy Coalition are engaged against a myriad of enemies. Pandemic Legion has officially joined the fight over Immensea by moving a massive fleet of supercarriers, titans, and force auxiliaries down to Tenerfis to join Fraternity and Holy League against Legacy Coalition. On the other side of the map in Eha, The Bloc – a Caldari Militia corporation – successfully defended a fortizar with NC again Gallante Militia.
Lumio en Tilavine weighs his odds on taking Tenal away from Pandemic Legion. Lumio was made famous by relentlessly resisting the overwhelming force of PL during their invasion of Providence. “YOU DIDNT HEARD THE LAST” of Lumio! Was one of his mantras.

The news roundup was interrupted by the battle of C-LTXS one hour into the show. We switched to live coverage of the massive fight. Before that switch, we covered a lot of ground, including the fresh news that Sort Dragon’s Avatar had been picked off. The trap was set by Kun’mi (aka Odell) from Goonswarm. He talked us through what happened. Apothne, Jin’taan and Killah Bee discussed Providence and the DRF situation but expanded on the larger themes of alliances and their struggles.
On the Mother’s Day show, entitled “Fight for Providence Stations,” we heard from Fleet Commanders from both sides of a coming conflict in Providence region. Representing the defending side, Pandemic Legion (PL), was Elise Randolph, CEO of Habitual Euthanasia and Harvey Skywarker of Higher Than Everest. Elise is the nominal leader of PL, and Harvey is the former leader the closed alliance “The Culture.” On the opposing side, the invaders, Test Alliance Please Ignore (TEST) were represented by co-campaign commander Progodlegend. Progod is a storied FC from a group that initially grew out of Providence. This conflict is interesting because...
The New Eden Trading Company effort is over, and the structures have been given away to new owners – Fafer and Max Singularity. They (along with me) will form a league of City-State Sanctuaries (Freeported Keepstars). We also check in with Vily of TEST Alliance on their recent victories in war, and we end with a closer look at theory crafting with Pando, from Initiative.
