TiS 09/16/18 – Alliances Rising Again

This week on Talking in Stations we talk about an integral part of the life of an alliance in Eve Online; what do you do when someone kicks over your sandcastle. Whether it is oppressive neighbors or an internal culture meltdown, we look at three alliances that have gone through these processes and what they did to bounce back. We are joined with Sebastien Saintfrusquin from Circle of Two, Dunk Dinkle from Brave Newbies Inc, Sapporo Jones and Dran Arcana, alliance executor and head diplomat of Test Alliance Please Ignore, respectively. TiS 08/26/18 – FW, GMs, & AT

This week on Talking in Stations, the Eve universe had an exciting week of GM shenanigans, the most talked about by far was the teleporting of botting super capitals to highsec space to be publicly executed by hordes of blood thirsty pilots. We also talked with Safoi of Templis Calsf and Corvus Onzo of The Mjolnr Bloc as these two pillars of Caldari Militia leave for other spaces. Finally, we talk with Apothne about the exciting conclusion of the Alliance Tournament and its future.

Conversations: Andrew Groen, Steven Messner, Carneros and Matterall

Here at Talking In Stations, we examine EVE Online from the perspective of a veteran player that has been active and influential for many years. Our goal is to break down the knowledge veterans have for newer players. Every so often we pull back and look at EVE from an outsiders view. In doing so, we gain perspective on EVE, meta-EVE, and virtual worlds in general.

TiS 07/23/18 – Great Battle of UALX-3

Events in this war are moving so fast; meme artists have trouble pinning a name on it. Last week we saw the Imperium move North and establish a Forward Operating Base.  This week the war shifted South as Legacy Coalition tried to do the same. TEST anchored a Keepstar in UALX-3 and Pandemic Legion, with allies, responded with a massive show of force. Legacy escalated their call to arms and matched with an enormous navy of their own.  The result was one of EVE’s most significant, most unpredictable battles – a battle that left PL trapped in the system.
